Are you a farmer, grower, food producer, or artisan passionate about your craft?
We invite you to apply to join one of Canada’s longest-standing markets—the Peterborough Farmers’ Market, proudly supporting local agriculture and community since 1825.
For 200 years, this market has been a trusted gathering place where generations of farmers, bakers, makers, and neighbours come together to share the fruits of their labour and connect with the community.
As we celebrate this historic milestone, there’s never been a better time to become part of the tradition.
2025 VENDOR STALL RATES
PER 10’x10′ STALL
FULL SEASON RENTAL
A full season is six months (26 weeks).
Per Stall: (26 weeks) $924.78 + ( HST) $120.22 = $1,045.00
Note* Payment can be broken into 3 monthly payments.
2 MONTH CONSECUTIVE RENTAL (8 WEEKS)
Per Stall: (8 weeks) $420.00 + (HST) $54.60 = $474.60
REGULAR DAILY RATE
Per Stall: $57.53 + (HST) $7.47 = $65.00
Payment will be due upon approval and prior to your first day.
Payment methods include: Cash, Cheque, EMT, Debit, and Credit Card +3% fee.
NOTE* Insurance is mandatory. Many of our vendors buy the proper insurance from Co-operators General Insurance Company.
VENDOR APPROVAL DETAILS
To stay true to our roots as a Farmers’ Market and maintain our status with the city, at least 51% of our vendors must be farmers and primary producers. We also try to avoid having too many vendors selling the same thing, so everyone has a fair chance. Long-time vendors are also given priority each season. If there is a great fit, then new approved vendors can start any time of year based on daily rates.

DECLARATION OF COMPLIANCE
VENDOR APPLICATION FORM
By submitting this online Vendor Application Form, I acknowledge that I am applying to become a vendor at the Peterborough and District Farmers’ Market Association (hereinafter referred to as the “PFM” or the “Market”).
If my application is accepted, I hereby confirm and agree to the following terms and conditions, which shall constitute a binding agreement between myself (the “Vendor”) and PFM, with the same force and effect as if signed in writing:

1. Compliance with Rules and Regulations

2. I understand that failure to comply with any of the above may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to the revocation of my vendor status and the forfeiture of my right to participate in the Peterborough Farmers’ Market.
3. Positive Conduct and Cooperation
If accepted, I agree to contribute to a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for customers, volunteers, board members, staff, and fellow vendors at all times.
4. Assumption of Risk and Liability
I acknowledge and agree that the PFM is not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or personal injury that may occur in connection with the rental or use of my assigned vendor stall(s). I accept full responsibility for any risk associated with my participation in the Market.

5. Insurance Requirement
I agree to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance with a minimum coverage of $2,000,000.00, naming the following as additional insured parties:

6. I understand that failure to submit this certificate as required may result in the immediate forfeiture of my application and/or vendor privileges.

Electronic Agreement
I understand and agree that submission of this application via the official PFM website constitutes my electronic signature, which has the same legal effect as a signed paper agreement, pursuant to the Electronic Commerce Act, 2000 (Ontario).
